一昨日に取り上げたパワーポイントの「使い方」blogBeyond BulletsのCliff Atkinsonより、メールを貰った。内容の転記は避けるが、要旨としては「取り上げてくれてありがとう、翻訳サイトで訳しようとおもったけど、うまく翻訳してくれないので、どんなことを書いたか教えてくれない？」というものであった。
（これはこっちで書くような話だが、「うまく翻訳してくれない」という部分の原文は、"lost in translation"という表現であった。
このblog経由でBeyond Bulletsを見に行った人がけっこういたため、アクセス解析をしていて「どうも変な日本語のblogから来るヤツが多い」と思って尋ねてきたらしい。（その気持ち、良くわかる）クリックして読みに行ってくれた皆様、ありがとうございます。
試しにTechnoratiにBeyond BulletsのURLを入れて検索してみると、Freshness（更新の新しい順）で9位から14位にここからのリンクが挙がってくる。（Source Authorityで見ると40位ぐらいに下がるが、まあ順当ってことで）
そんなわけで、こんな返事を送っておきました。

thought he was being too harsh on the software while the true culprit
was those who'd just adopt a given template without thinking what they

to fit the message into a presentation instead of designing a
presentation that best delivers the message.In the entry that I referred to your blog, I just talked about the
above and then introduced a couple of the tips that I found thought
provoking - I'm pretty sure some of the guys who clicked through to

自分もトラックバックやコメントをしてくれた人にはなるべく返事をするように心がけているのだが、「見に来てくれた人」まではなかなかできないものである。ここ数日でけっこうアクセスもあっただろうに、この人、とてもマメな人なのだろうな。（日本語で取り上げているなんて珍しい、と思っただけかもしれないが）
こういう交流、Scobleとの間でもあったが、何だか良いものである。
ちょっと心がけてみるかな。
