Scobleized!

梅田さんのところでのguest blogでさんざん取り上げたせいだろうか、月曜日のRobert Scobleのblogのエントリにこんな記載があった。

For instance, do I link to ego stuff, like this CNET/Japan link which is driving a bit of traffic my way tonight? (Can anyone translate that?)

CNETに貼ったScobleizer blogへのリンクをクリックした人が多かったらしく、彼のサイトのアクセス元ランキングの上位に私のguest blogのエントリ（特に第一回と最終回）が出現し、「誰だこれは」というリアクションを誘ったようだ。

これに対し、別の読者がこんなコメントを寄せていた。

CNET/Japan column talked about you a lot. Mostly positive. Do you need translations? I can provide my unofficial translation. But, first it is better for you to try babelfish first, I suppose. :-)

「おおむね良い事を書いてたよ」というものであり、「何なら翻訳しようか？」と申し出ている。結局、Scobleはbabelfishで私のエントリを翻訳したらしく、こんなことを書いていた。

I didn't realize babelfish did Japanese to English. The translation was very crude, but I could get the gist of it. Very nice!

この「Very nice!」というのがbabelfishの翻訳機能に対してなのか、私の書いたことに対するものか判然としないが、さすがにこんなことを書かれると、「追っかけ」の私としては自分の正体と意図を明らかにせねば、と思い、上のScobleのエントリに対し、今朝こんなコメントを書いてみた。

The dialogue you were generating and promoting through your blog was so intriguing I felt compelled to introduce that to my Japanese audience so I took the opportunity when I was asked to guestblog for Mochio Umeda (who's a friend of mine) last week. My own blog discusses you quite a bit, too - albeit in Japanese. I'm thinking about posting more in English there and try to become more of a contributor than a mere reader of your blog... Can I now claim that I've been Sobleized now? :)

基本的には、Scobleのやっていることに感心していること、それゆえいつも取り上げている事を伝えたつもりである。

これに対し、なんと、ほんの１時間ほどでScoble自身のコメントが寄せられた。

Naotake, yes, you've been Scobleized! This is a fun world we've built here. Thanks for taking the conversation into new places!

以前こちらのエントリでScobleに取り上げてもらうことを「Scobleized」と言う、といった趣旨のことを書いたが、これでついに、Scobleizedされたたことになる。しかも、「新しいところ（＝日本）にここでの対話を拡大してくれてありがとう」とまで言ってくれている。

ちょっと感激してしまった。Blogやってて良かった、と思った一瞬である。

感激ついでに、これからScobleの世界と日本のblog界のリンクとしての役割を果たすのも良いかな、などと思ってしまった。でも、できれば日本の読者の方々にも彼の世界に直接触れて欲しいと思うので、英語だからと臆さずに、ぜひトライしてほしい。
